Sitapur News: The market swayed to the tune of the shehnai, business increased

Sitapur. Since the beginning of Sahalag, the markets have started to look lively. The movement of customers has increased at the shops of clothes and jewellery etc. Booking of wedding halls and tents has also started. There is enthusiasm among the traders due to the boom in business.

After the end of Kharmas, auspicious events have started from January 16. The market which was lying deserted for about a month has now come alive again. The market is dancing to the tune of the Shehnai. There are 11 auspicious times in January, 15 in February and 4 in March. For this, booking of tents and marriage halls, flower garlands and vehicles has started. Crowds of buyers can be seen at sarees, readymade clothes and gold-silver shops. Bike and car showrooms have also become buzzing. The wedding season has just begun. This time due to bumper wedding ceremonies, the traders are excited in the hope of good business.

Advance booking of wedding hall and tents has started.
MJ Golden Palace owner Virendra Kumar Mishra says that so far one booking has been received in January and four in February. People are constantly contacting to book the wedding hall. Meanwhile, tent businessman Alok Bajpai said that four bookings have been received. This time better business is expected due to more wedding season.

50 percent rise in the bullion market;
the purchase of jewellery has increased in the wedding season. Atul Tandon, owner of Kashinath Jewellers, said that despite the inflation on gold and silver, the sales increase in the wedding season. People shop for jewellery for the bride and for gifts to the groom. The charm of the bullion market has returned in the wedding season. Ranjeet Rastogi, owner of Durga Jewellers, said that there has been a 50 percent increase in sales. This has brought back the glow on the faces of the shopkeepers.

Sales increased by 30% in the textile market.
Saree seller Jivesh Sahni says that it has been just four days since the wedding season started. Sales have increased, but more growth is expected. Readymade clothes seller Ayush said that sales have increased by about 30% during the wedding season. Due to the increased wedding season, good business is expected this time.
