Due to Maha Kumbh 2025, small artisans and small units have orders worth Rs 10 thousand crore. The state government expects a turnover of Rs two lakh crore from the event.
Prayagraj Maha Kumbh is a living proof of how religious events become the backbone of a state’s economy. From artisans to entrepreneurs from all 75 districts are directly and indirectly involved in the Maha Kumbh, which is ready to welcome about 40 crore devotees. This mega event, which has attracted a population equivalent to 35 countries in just 45 days, is no less than Diwali for industries. Small artisans and small units alone have orders worth Rs 10 thousand crore.
