Sitapur. The government has adopted a strict stance regarding quality and timely redressal of public complaints, but many officers of the district are being negligent in this direction. ADM Judicial Khalid Anjum has issued show cause notices to 19 officers in the matter of pending complaints on the IGRS portal and ignoring the instructions of the DM.
On July 10, 2023, District Officer Abhishek Anand had given clear instructions to all departmental officers to personally review the complaints lodged on the IGRS portal and upload the report after resolving them in a quality manner three days before the stipulated time. However, in a recent review, it was found that 33 complaints are still pending and these officers did not follow the instructions.
Taking this negligence seriously, the DM directed to seek answers from the concerned officials. On which the ADM Judicial has issued notices. The DM said that this action is a warning to those officers who do not take public complaints seriously. The administration has made it clear that no one can escape accountability.
