Paliakalan. Panic spread among the people on the information of presence of two leopard cubs in the wheat field in Fulwaria village of Palia area. When the forest workers started monitoring, it was found that they were the cubs of wild cats.
In the morning some people were going for defecation in village Phulwaria. During this time when they heard a sound in the wheat field, they reached the spot and found two cubs sitting there and roaming around. A video of this was made and made viral on social media and a rumour spread in the village that leopard cubs were found in the field.
When the information reached the forest department, forest department ranger Vinay Kumar Singh, deputy ranger Shivababu Saroj went to the spot with their team and after inspection, they declared that these were wild kittens. The forest department said that both were wild kittens and the cat later took them away from the place where they were seen.
