Sitapur News: After 41 years, 54 bighas of government land was freed from the possession of land mafia

Sitapur. After about 41 years, 54 bighas of land of Para Gram Sabha of Sadar Tehsil has been freed from the clutches of land mafia. This land was under occupation since 1984. A single bench of the High Court has given its decision in favour of the government and has recorded it as a precedent. On Friday, the Tehsil Sadar administration has freed the land from occupation by putting up a government board on the land.

Let us tell you that a single bench of Justice Jaspreet Singh of Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court has given a big decision regarding 4.312 hectares of land of account number 218 located in Gram Panchayat Para of Tehsil Sadar. The market value of this 54 bigha plot is about 6 crore rupees.

Sub-district magistrate Sadar Abhinav Yadav said that account number 218 of Para Gram Samaj was registered in the name of Ruda Singh. He died in the year 1979. After this, this plot was registered in the name of Gram Sabha in the records on the proposal of the Pradhan. At the same time, during the consolidation process, on the basis of forged documents, land mafia Ram Kumar Shukla presented his associate Chandan Singh alias Chandrapal Singh as Ruda Singh’s nephew.

On this basis, he got the inheritance order passed in his favour. After this, Chandan Singh transferred the land in favour of the family of land mafia Ram Kumar Shukla through a total of eight deeds. A 12-year-old boy was also involved in this. After this, the Deputy Director of Consolidation took a decision in the year 2024 and transferred the plot in favour of the government.

Chandan Singh challenged this in the High Court. On this, a single bench of Justice Jaspreet Singh of the High Court passed an order in favour of the government and decided to register the land in the name of the Gram Sabha. On the orders of the court, the team of Tehsildar Sadar Atul Sen Singh went to Para village on Friday and got the administration’s board installed on the land.
