Lucknow News: Four inspectors and 10 constables deployed to manage traffic

Raebareli. Four inspectors and 10 constables posted in police stations have been deployed to control traffic. This decision was taken by Superintendent of Police Dr. Yashveer Singh in view of the shortage of staff in the traffic department. More attention will be paid to making the intersections on the highway free from traffic jams. So that the movement of vehicles is not affected.

In fact, apart from Rae Bareli, lakhs of devotees from Lucknow, Amethi, Barabanki, Sultanpur districts are coming and going to Prayagraj via Rae Bareli. Here, the devotees were facing problems due to the jam on the Lucknow-Prayagraj highway.

According to traffic in-charge Indrapal Singh, apart from the traffic in-charge, there are 10 traffic sub-inspectors, 18 constables, 50 home guards, 70 PRD jawans available in the traffic department. Whereas 32 traffic constables, eight traffic inspectors have been deployed for Maha Kumbh. Due to this, there was a problem in managing the traffic system.

Four inspectors and 10 constables posted in Sadar Kotwali, Mill Area police station have been put on duty to manage the traffic. He said that police personnel have been deployed in Bachhrawan, Ratapur, Saras Tiraha, Civil Lines and Munshiganj town on the highway.
