Kannauj. Passenger number 55347 going from Kanpur Anwarganj to Farrukhabad was running on time on Saturday night. It reached Manimau station, where the engine developed a technical fault. Due to this, the train stood at the station for 40 minutes. After the engine broke down, the passengers travelling in the train faced a lot of inconvenience. The engine fault was rectified by the railway’s technical team, loco pilot and co-driver, after which the train left for its destination.
Passenger train number 55347 from Kanpur Anwarganj to Farrukhabad left on time in the evening. It reached Manimau station at 9:03 pm. From here it left for Kannauj station when its engine developed a technical fault. It took 35 minutes for the driver, co-driver and the technical team to repair the engine. Many people coming to Kannauj left by tempo. RPF station in-charge Omprakash Meena said that due to technical fault in the engine the train was standing for 40 minutes. After being repaired it was sent to Farrukhabad. Information about this was given to the higher authorities.
