Gursahaiganj. Late night a vehicle hit the bike of a youth returning home from the market. The youth was seriously injured in the accident. After providing first aid, the youth died on the way to Kanpur.
Shakir alias Babu (18), son of Rashid alias Chanda, a resident of Gori Nawada in the Kotwali area, was returning from Gursahaiganj market late on Saturday night. A vehicle hit his bike in front of Baba Hospital in Ramganj Mohalla. Shakir was seriously injured in the collision. On receiving the information, the family members provided him with first aid. The youth was being taken to Kanpur for treatment, but Shakir died on the way. On hearing the news of death, the family members were devastated. According to the Kotwali police, no complaint has been received regarding the incident so far. After receiving the complaint, action will be taken against the accused driver.
