Lakhimpur Kheri. On the second day of the annual sports competition at the Government Polytechnic located at Salempur Kon, the players showed their strength on the sports field. The finals of a total of four events were held on Tuesday.
In the 200 meter race girls category Anshika Verma came first, Sagun Rastogi second and Shraddha Shukla third. In the 800 meter race boys category Sachin Dhangar came first, Abhijeet Kumar second and Satyadev Singh third. In the long jump girls category Shagun Rastogi, Simran Verma and Rekha Kumari came first, second and third respectively.
In the long jump boys category, Bechu Kumar got the first place, Arvind Shakya got the second place and Bharat Lal got the third place. On this occasion, Principal Padmesh Pankaj and coordinator Anup Kumar Sachan (Department Head, Pharmacy) encouraged the children. The jury included Sumedha Singh, Mohit Kumar, Dhirendra Verma, Richa Arya, Yogendra Pal Singh, Praveen Kumar, Pankaj Verma, Satyavijay.
