Bighapur. Three youths started running away in a car after seeing a police vehicle. When chased, the youths waved the car in front of the police jeep. The policemen chased them and somehow stopped the car. All three youths were drunk, they were challaned for disturbing the peace. The car has been seized.
Kotwal Rajpal said that on Monday night around 12 he was checking outside the bank located in the Nagar Panchayat and other government institutions, when he saw a white car parked near the State Bank. On seeing the jeep, the occupants of the car started the car and ran towards Unnao. They even waved the car in front of the jeep. Policemen from Dandamau village stopped the car, three youths sitting in it were drunk. During interrogation, two told their names as Vineet and Ashish, residents of Jahanabad Fatehpur and the third one told his name as Amit Pandey, resident of DSN College Road. All three have been challaned for disturbing the peace.
