Achalganj. A young man who returned from abroad six days ago died under suspicious circumstances on Tuesday afternoon. There is talk of a dispute with his wife. Police is waiting for the post-mortem report.
Sanjeet (35) son of Deviprasad, a resident of Debiyakheda of the police station area, worked in a clothes shop in Muscat city of Oman. He came home on 15 April. He lived separately from his father at home. According to father Deviprasad, he had gone to Supasi village on Tuesday afternoon. Granddaughter Nandini called and said that her father’s condition had deteriorated. When he reached home, his son was lying on the cot. Daughter-in-law Poonam was sitting nearby. Sanjeet was brought to CHC by ambulance, where the doctor declared him dead. According to Poonam, her husband used to drink alcohol. He was the eldest among four siblings. There is talk of a dispute between the husband and wife among the family and neighbors. SHO Rajesh Pathak said that the young man’s condition had deteriorated at home. The exact cause of death will be known after the post-mortem report comes.
