Dhaurahra. A fire broke out due to short circuit in Chakdaha village of Isanagar area. Forty houses were burnt in the flames in no time.
On Sunday evening, a short circuit in the solar panel caused a fire in Chakdaha village of Dhaurahra tehsil. Bhagana’s house started burning due to this. Due to this, the houses of forty people including Bantu, Ramkishore, Rajinder, Ramsagar, Rammilan, Omkar, Harinam, Dinesh, Sobran, Akhilesh, Makin, Parana, Ghanshyam, Ramu, Pappu, Sarju, Chhatrapal, Bharat, Prithvi Pal etc. were burnt to ashes.
Sobran’s cash worth one lakh and Sukai and Ramu’s pumping sets, Ram Prakash’s trolley and household goods worth lakhs were burnt. The fire brigade team, which arrived on information, along with the villagers, somehow controlled the fire. Tehsildar Aditya Vishal reached the spot and immediately arranged lunch packets and tarpaulins for the fire-affected families. Tehsildar Aditya Vishal said that relief material is being provided by sending a team including the Lekhpal.
