Lakhimpur Kheri. On the orders of the court, a case has been registered against three people including three XEN JE in the case of death of a villager due to electric shock on July 1.
Rohit Kumar Verma, son of the deceased, said that he is a resident of Jamkohana village of Kotwali Sadar. His father Ram Kishore was transplanting paddy in the field. It is alleged that the departmental officers and linemen were informed several times about the broken insulator, but no one paid any attention. The situation was such that his father Ram Kishore Verma died due to electric shock. He says that the Deputy Director of Electrical Safety had inspected the spot, in which XEN Rural II, JE and two linemen were found guilty.
He gave a complaint to Kotwali Sadar police against the three accused, but the police did not register a report. The victim took recourse to the court. On the orders of the court, Sadar Kotwali police has registered a report against the three accused and started investigation.
