Unnao. Anuj Singh Parihar was duped of Rs 12 lakh in the name of getting him a job in an airline. The police have registered a report on the complaint of the victim and are investigating.
Anuj Singh Parihar, a resident of Loknagar Mohalla of the city, said that Kapil Pandey, a resident of Hanuman Nagar Mohalla, told that he was an employee of Vistara Airlines. He lured him with a job in a well-known airlines. Not only this, he also gave a fake appointment letter. According to the victim, Kapil’s colleagues deceived him and told him that he would have to book the air ticket from his account.
Its payment will be sent to the account after three months along with the salary. Anuj told that he booked tickets worth about 11 lakhs from his own pocket. Kapil also asked for about 12 lakh rupees to be given to different officials in the name of appointment in the job. The victim told that he sent one lakh rupees on Kapil Pandey’s phone pay. A few days later, when he asked Kapil and his alleged officials for salary and the money deposited from his account in lieu of booking the ticket, he kept on delaying for several days. On this, he realized that it was a fraud. Kotwal Pramod Mishra said that on the basis of the complaint, a report has been registered and investigation has been started.
