Sitapur. A van went out of control and fell into a ditch on the side of the road in Kotwali Mahmoodabad area on Thursday. Seven passengers in the vehicle were seriously injured. They were admitted to CHC.
A van coming from Lucknow to Mahmoodabad with passengers went out of control near Sandana Petrol Pump in Patel Nagar on Thursday. It fell into a ditch on the side of the road and collided with a wall on the other side. Seven passengers sitting in it were injured in the accident.
The police took the injured to CHC in an ambulance. Inspector in-charge Anil Singh said that all the injured have been admitted to CHC. The cause of the accident is being investigated. The van was pulled out of the ditch and taken to the police station.
Those injured in the accident were van passengers Yasmin and Rashid of Pantepur, Qurban Ali of Noorpur, Jaskaran of Beldari Tola, Ayodhya resident of Samshabad of Sadarpur and Nandini and Tanu resident of Hazratganj, Lucknow.
