Sitapur. A survey is being conducted for the eligible people who are not getting the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The selected people will be given houses on the basis of eligibility. This work is going on at a fast pace. At present, the district is at the fourth place in this work in the state. So far, 73,442 families have been surveyed.
To provide the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana, a survey of eligible persons is being conducted on the instructions of the government. This work will continue till March 31. Eligible persons are being identified in 2,316 revenue villages of 1,588 gram panchayats. For this, the employees are conducting the survey on the basis of set standards. An employee has to survey three gram panchayats and submit the report. The eligible person can also update the application by doing the online survey himself from his mobile. Till March 4, survey of 73,442 families has been done. The district is at the fourth place in the state in survey work.
For the survey of housing beneficiaries, surveyors have been appointed gram panchayat-wise, who are being monitored by the Block Development Officer and ADO. Secretary, boring technician, cane inspector, JE minor irrigation, JE RES, tube-well driver, livestock extension officer, technical assistant agriculture, ADO etc. have been appointed as surveyors. Their number is 545. On an average, one surveyor has been given three gram panchayats.
