Maharajganj (Raebareli). Four people were going to attend a wedding procession on a bike. The bike went out of control and collided with an electric pole on the roadside. One youth died on the spot in the accident. Three other youths were seriously injured. The injured were referred from CHC to the district hospital.
Kuldeep (21) son of Laxmi Narayan, Kripashankar (20), Neeraj (16) son of Harischandra and Vijay (21) son of Ramfer, residents of Pure Hindu Majra Alaipur police station Mohanganj in Amethi district, were going to a wedding procession in Manpur village of Shivgarh on the same bike on Saturday. The bike collided with an electric pole near Took village on the Shivgarh road. Kuldeep died on the spot. The other three youths were seriously injured.
The local people admitted the seriously injured youths to the community health center. As their condition was critical, the doctor referred them to the district hospital after first aid. Dr. Sanjay Roy said that a liquor packet was recovered from the injured Vijay’s pant pocket. All of them were drunk. Inspector in charge Jagdish Yadav said that the family members have been informed about the incident. The body has been sent for post-mortem.
Had they worn helmets, their lives could have been saved.

Couple injured in container collision
Bachhrawan (Raebareli). Nitin (32) resident of Sanit Kheda, Churuva Temple on Lucknow-Prayagraj Highway was going home with his wife Savita (28) on bike on Sunday evening. Then a container hit their bike from behind. Both were injured in the accident. The injured were taken to CHC by ambulance. Dr. Indrabhushan Jaiswal referred both of them to Trauma Center. Inspector in charge Pankaj Tyagi said that the driver fled from the spot leaving the container behind. Action will be taken after receiving the complaint
