Laharpur (Sitapur). A wild animal killed a sheep in Mohiuddinpur village of the region on Wednesday night. On Thursday morning, villagers were terrified after seeing the dead body of the sheep. On receiving the information, the forest department team reached the spot and investigated. During this, the villagers were advised to remain alert.
Manish son of Gumani, a resident of Mohiuddinpur, had his sheep tied outside the house under the thatch. Its mutilated body was found on Thursday morning. The villagers were terrified by this. The villagers say that some wild animal has hunted the sheep. On the other hand, Deputy Forest Officer Harish Kumar Srivastava, who reached the spot with the team after receiving the information, after investigation said that no footprints of any violent animal were found around the spot. He suspected that some dog or jackal has attacked the sheep. He has asked the villagers to remain alert from the security point of view.
