Raebareli. Train operations were derailed on Monday due to interlocking and non-interlocking work at Balamau railway station of Moradabad Railway Division till February 19. Five long route trains were cancelled. Passengers had to face inconvenience due to this. After waiting for hours, passengers had to return disappointed when the trains did not arrive.
Due to the accident in Delhi, train operations were disrupted on Sunday. It was expected that train operations would be back on track on Monday, but this did not happen. Train numbers 15120 Janta Express, 13005 Howrah-Amritsar Express, 13006 Amritsar-Howrah Express, 15119 Banaras-Dehradun Express, 15120 Janta Express were cancelled. Passengers who reached the railway station were angry.
The reason is that passengers were waiting for trains to go to their destination since morning. When they came to know about the cancellation of trains, they looked worried. Dinesh Yadav, resident of Belabhela of Rahi block area, Ambuj Sahu, resident of Rahi, said that they work in Ludhiana. They had reached the station to go to Ludhiana. There they came to know that the train has been cancelled.
I am going back home on this. The same was the condition of other passengers, who looked distressed due to the cancellation of trains. Station Superintendent Raviranjan said that trains were cancelled due to interlocking and non-interlocking work at Balamau railway station.
