This was the reason that on Friday there were intermittent traffic jams in the city and the police had to work hard to manage the traffic system. The problem of jam was the most in Bachhrawan and Lalganj. In such a situation, administrative officials also kept monitoring the traffic system.

There was an intermittent traffic jam in Bachhrawan town on Friday. The jam lasted from 8 am to 10 am. The number of vehicles going to Prayagraj was more during this time. During this time the police kept managing the situation. At the same time, there was a traffic jam again from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

Police Inspector Pankaj Kumar Tyagi said that traffic jams are occurring due to the large number of devotees travelling in vehicles for the Maha Kumbh. The police is taking prompt action to clear the traffic jams.

Lalganj (Raebareli). There was a huge traffic jam in the city since Friday morning. Due to which the drivers were worried the whole day. Due to the jam, a student going to school on a scooty with his sister collided with a dumper at Gandhi Chauraha. Due to which he was seriously injured.

Due to the jam, roadways buses and school vehicles carrying passengers were stuck. Meanwhile, at around 9:15 am, a student going to school on a scooty with his sister at Gandhi Square was hit by a dumper and was seriously injured. He was brought to CHC for treatment. According to eyewitnesses, as soon as the jam was cleared at the intersection, in the race to get ahead, the scooty rider Prasapna (22) resident of Mohan Singh Ka Purwa Majra Lodipur Uttaravan collided with a dumper. Prasapna’s brother Rajbir (12) was also sitting with him, who was seriously injured. The injured child was taken to CHC for treatment. From where the doctors referred him to the district hospital after first aid. The police present on the spot have taken the dumper into their custody.
