Raebareli. The Transport Corporation had given approval to operate contracted buses on 26 untouched routes of the district a year ago, but the operation of buses has not started yet. However, efforts are underway to contract private buses and start their operation on the respective routes soon. More than seven lakh villagers will benefit from the operation of buses on these routes. These buses will operate through rural routes.
Last year, on the orders of the Transport Minister, untouched routes were identified. In the survey in the district, 26 such routes were found on which roadways buses are not operating. A year ago, the routes were identified and the list was sent to the corporation. The corporation level approved the operation of buses on the routes, but due to lack of arrangement of buses, the operation was not started.
Roadways buses are operating on some routes. After signing the contract with private buses, these routes will be operational. With the operation of buses on these routes, the distance for passengers between villages and Lucknow, Kanpur, Ayodhya, Fatehpur will be reduced because till now people from villages had to come on the highway to catch buses for big cities.

of the district Raebareli-Salon-Parsadepur-Nasirabad-Jayas-Sultanpur-Ayodhya route, Salon-Baherwa-Paterwa-Unchahar-Raebareli, Salon-Lakshmiganj-Paterwa-Jagatpur-Raebareli-Lucknow route, Dharai-Salon-Raebareli-Bachhrawan-Lucknow route, Nisgar-Purepandey-Lalganj-Raebareli-Salon-Pratapgarh route, Atarhar-Kheron, Gurubakshganj-Raebareli-Jayas-Sultanpur route, Sultanpurkheda-Dhakiya Chauraha-Raebareli-Lalganj-Kanpur route, Rajamau-Bachhrawan-Raebareli-Lalganj-Fatehpur route, Durgaganj, Jatua-Dedaur-Raebareli-Lalganj-Kanpur route, Dudhwan-Pure Bus operations will soon be started on 26 routes including Pandey-Lalganj-Raebareli-Dalmau-Fatehpur route.
After the survey, the list for running buses on 26 rural routes of the district was sent to the headquarters. Approval has been received from the corporation level. Contracted buses will run on these routes. Operations will begin after getting the contracted buses.
