Sitapur. Dr. Priyanka Maurya, member of Uttar Pradesh State Women Commission, inspected the district hospital on Thursday and saw the arrangements. A patient complained about being prescribed medicine from outside. On this, the CMS was instructed to take immediate action against the doctor.
Priyanka Maurya inspected the women’s ward, medical store, emergency ward, blood bank etc. While talking to the women in the women’s ward, she asked about the health services being provided. A relative complained that medicine has been prescribed for my patient from outside. The member expressed displeasure over this.
He directed to take action against Dr. SK Shukla posted in the Leprosy Department for prescribing medicines from outside. While talking to the patients, he assured them that all health services will be provided to the patients in the district hospital. There is no need for anyone to get medicines from outside.
During the inspection of the blood bank, he took information about the machines and understood their functioning. He instructed the CMS to provide better health facilities to all the patients who come here.
