Jharkhapur (Sitapur). Footprints of a wild animal were seen in the fields near Sarayan river on Sunday. On receiving the information, the forest department team reached the spot and conducted combing and investigated the footprints.
There was a stir on Sunday when footprints of a wild animal were found in Rajendra Singh’s field near Mumtajpur village of Hargaon on the banks of Sarayan river. People from nearby villages also reached there after getting the information. After this, the villagers informed the forest department.
The forest department team went to the spot and examined the footprints and advised the villagers to be cautious. Forest Officer Binu Pal said that the team has examined the footprints. The footprints appear to be of a tiger. The footprints appear to be one or two days old.
