Sitapur. A young man died and another was seriously injured in accidents on Jalalpur road in Machrehta area. SHO Amit Pandey said that the police is investigating both the incidents.
Shailendra (28), a resident of Jatpurva village, was walking on Jalalpur road late Sunday night for some work. During that time, he was hit by a speeding unknown vehicle and got injured. Police took him to CHC where doctors declared him dead. Police sent the body for postmortem.
On the other hand, on Monday, Munendra (30), a resident of Madia, was coming from Jalalpur on a bike. Suddenly he collided with a cyclist. Munendra was seriously injured in the accident. On being informed by the villagers, the police came and admitted him to Machrehta CHC in an ambulance. From there, the doctors referred him to the district hospital.
