Laharpur (Sitapur). A tiger attacked a farmer in Nibauri village. The injured farmer has been admitted to the district hospital. On receiving the information, the forest department team conducted combing operations. People are in panic due to the attack of wild animals.
Ramsharan, a resident of Nibouri village, was irrigating the field on Thursday. During this time, a tiger attacked him from behind, due to which he got seriously injured. On the other hand, as soon as the news of the tiger attack was received, a large number of villagers gathered at the spot. The injured Ramsharan was immediately taken to the community health center, from where he was referred to the district hospital.
Sandeep, Kuldeep, Pradeep, Ramjivan and Ramsevak who reached the hospital said that we were watering the fields with Ramsharan, when suddenly the tiger attacked from behind. Everyone shouted and ran away from there. Village head Tirath Raj, BDC Kamlesh Kumar, Arun Gupta, Lakshmikant, Shyamsundar and other villagers expressed their anger by accusing the forest department of negligence. They said that people have been saying about the presence of tiger in the area for many days but the officials are limited to only checking the footprints.
After getting information about the incident, the forest department team reached the spot and combed the area. Forest department SDO Vikas Yadav and regional forest officer Abhishek Singh, who reached the hospital, inquired about the incident from the villagers present. The villagers accused the forest department of negligence. SDO Vikas Yadav assured all the farmers that concrete steps would be taken to catch the wild animal.
