Sitapur. Investigation has started regarding corruption in the training of Krishi Ajeevika Sakhi. The department has asked for a report from the investigation committee in three days. Only after that a decision will be taken on the training of the next batch. Women of self-help groups in the district were selected as Krishi Ajeevika Sakhi last year. They were not trained then.

This training is being conducted at the beginning of the current financial year. An institute in Lucknow has been selected for this. Instead of conducting the training through its own officials, the institute gave the responsibility to a person from the district. He is conducting the training in a guest house in the city. In this regard, the instructions given by the department while giving the responsibility of training were not followed. Due to this, Krishi Sakhis coming from far off places had to face difficulties. Proper food was not provided, there was a problem in providing kits, and also there was a problem in preparing notes in the condition in which the training was given while sitting on mattresses. There was also a reduction in the rent.

Krishi Sakhis of the sixth batch of training started regarding other irregularities had complained about it at the block and district headquarters. Amar Ujala published this entire matter prominently. Taking cognizance of this, orders have been given to investigate this matter. Mission Manager in the district, Amarjeet Singh said that a Gram Vikas Adhikari attached to the headquarters has been entrusted with the investigation of this matter.
