Rampur Mathura (Sitapur). On Tuesday, the body of a married woman was found hanging from a noose in suspicious circumstances in Surjanpur. She had a love marriage six years ago. Her parents have accused her of dowry murder.
Aarti (25), a resident of Ataora Bakshipurwa, had a love marriage with Mohit, a resident of Surjanpur, six years ago. A few days after the marriage, the two started quarreling frequently. On Tuesday morning, Aarti’s body was found hanging from a noose inside the house under suspicious circumstances.
The family took her to CHC, where doctors declared the married woman dead. Aarti’s uncle Chail Bihari has accused her in-laws of killing her for dowry and hanging her from a noose. SHO Krishnanandan Tiwari said that a complaint has been received. Further action will be taken after the postmortem report arrives.
