Sitapur News: Police is looking for evidence in 500 call recordings

Sitapur. After 72 hours of interrogation in the journalist Raghavendra Bajpai murder case, the police is claiming to have found important clues. The call recordings present in the recycle bin of Raghavendra’s mobile have been retrieved. About five hundred recordings are being heard.

A team of policemen has been put on this. According to sources, call recordings and statements of Lekhpals are being matched. Along with this, Raghvendra’s Lakhimpur connection and every aspect related to it is being investigated. Sources have also revealed that the police is gathering information about a special network of local criminals. People associated with this network in the past and present are being listed. SP Chakresh Mishra said that important clues have been obtained from Raghvendra’s phone.

According to sources, the police is busy connecting the links of this murder. Along with this, the aspects of Lekhpal syndicate, paddy scam, land dispute and closeness to a person are being investigated. STF is also busy in searching the dump data. Contractors related to paddy purchase and some other revenue officials are also involved in this.

The interrogation of six Lekhpals continued on Tuesday as well. The location and call records of the Lekhpals on the day of the incident have been investigated. Along with this, the location of a retired soldier involved in the land dispute on the day of the incident is also being investigated.
