Mahevaganj/Phoolbehad. In the case of the death of an elderly man in a fight, the police have filed a case of unintentional murder and sent the challan of two youths.
On January 15, 75-year-old Chheddan, a resident of Sundarval, had a dispute with Sajid and Mehtab of the same village over uprooting the weeds planted in his field. It is alleged that both of them beat up the elderly Chheddan. On January 17, the police registered an NCR. The elderly Chheddan died on the night of January 19.
After the uproar by the family members, the police got the postmortem done. In this case, the police amended the case under several sections including unintentional murder. On Thursday evening, the police arrested the accused Sajid and Mehtab and sent them to jail.
