People were seen sitting around heaters and bonfires to get relief from the cold. However, there was some relief when the sun came out after nine in the morning. But the movement of clouds and strong icy wind seemed to dominate the sunshine.

The weather suddenly turned harsh on Sunday morning due to the western disturbance becoming active. Strong cold winds started blowing and rain started with thunder.
