Patan. In Ajabkheda village, the body of a young man was found hanging from a noose inside the house. When the police investigated, it came to light that he had committed suicide due to family discord. After the dispute, the wife divorced him and married a neighbour.
Roshni, a resident of Ajabkheda in Bihar police station area, used to live in Mumbai with her family many years ago. 12 years ago, Roshni married Irfan Ansari (35) who also lived there. They had three children after the marriage. After the death of her parents, Roshni came to the village with her children about four years ago as she had land in the village. Irfan used to come every month or two.
When the matter reached the police, a compromise was made and it was decided that 10 year old daughter Sifar and 9 year old Muskan would stay with Irfan and 4 year old Fatima would stay with her mother.
On Wednesday morning, Irfan was getting ready to go to Mumbai with both the girls, when Sifar informed her mother over the phone. There was again an argument between the two over taking the girls along. In the afternoon, the matter again reached the police. According to the SO, out of the two daughters, Muskan said that she wanted to stay with her mother and Sifar said that she would go with her father.
After the settlement, the two quarreled again on the way. Tired of this, Irfan reached home and committed suicide by hanging himself. Police station in-charge Subrat Narayan said that the young man took this step due to a dispute between the husband and wife. The body has been sent for post-mortem.
